Behind the collective
Social Rest Collective was founded by Claire van der Vaart, whose path began in the world of hospitality before moving into yoga facilitation and curating wellbeing experiences. With a background in project, people and event management, she thrives on creating moments that connect and inspire, always drawn to crafting meaningful, human-centered experiences.
But, after years of moving fast, she began to crave something else. A pause that wasn’t just about keeping up with the fast paced world, but about tuning in. As she deepened her yoga practice, she became increasingly curious about what the yoga philosophy offered beyond the physical. It became clear: this is worth sharing.
Driven by a passion for personal development and well-being, Social Rest Collective is her quiet response to our fast-paced world. A way to invite others into more rest, reconnection, and the kind of clarity that doesn’t come from doing more, but from pausing with intention.
